For many publishers, events – whether Conferences, Exhibitions or Awards Ceremonies – are becoming an increasingly important part of their business. Working closely with publishers and events organisers, Abacus e-Media has developed the Events Marketplace product. This allows event managers to promote and manage their events through information and feature rich websites.
Product Overview
Events Marketplace combines a content management component (for building site navigation and search, marketing and information pages), with registration and booking functionality, conference session and speaker management, together with separate awards and exhibition functions. The solution allows events staff to create well-designed but flexible sites with a minimum of technical input, and to facilitate efficient communication with visitors and partners. Events Marketplace also includes its own banner management facility, and can be integrated with other CMS or event management systems where required.
Events Marketplace can be used as a stand-alone system or to extend the functionality of Abacus e-Media’s multichannel publishing solution, Webvision, to provide integration between editorial, email marketing and events.
