Thomson Reuters launch IFR China
Thomson Reuters have launched its first Chinese site powered by the new version of our content management system Webvision v3. IFR China is also the first Chinese site from Abacus.
Abacus has been working with Thomson Reuters since 2004 in the UK, USA and Far East. In addition to building the company’s online systems, Abacus has also been responsible for the re-design of a number of Thomson Reuters online magazine titles.
Thomson Reuters “International Financing Review” (IFR) has been committed to reporting the development of world capital market transactions and events for 35 years. China’s global influence of the financial layout is constantly increasing and so a new online Chinese service was needed.
The site uses enterprise searching, FAST from Microsoft, improving the user experience by allowing subscribers to filter progressively through the site’s content. The site also integrates with Thomson One which provides market data, allowing IFR to stay on top of the market by streaming news and quotes.
IFR China is powered by Webvision v3, the new functionality of the system makes it even easier to upload and manage the content. Many of our publishing clients have upgraded to the new version of Webvision with great success, editors and users alike are enjoying the improved usability.
