Abacus clients star in this year's SOCITM report

The annual SOCITM Better Connected survey has just been published, and once again, Lincolnshire County Council’s web site receives high praise.

The site achieved a 3 star rating with such excellent comments as "Sophisticated, multi-faceted, interactive and user-focused".  Described as "engaging and comprehensive", the web site which was designed by Abacus e-Media and is based on the company's Webstructure content management platform, was also commended for its use of innovative touches such as the "Ask Alex" help avatar, a Twitter feed and podcasts.  The conclusion of the reviewers, who look at design, appearance, functionality and accessibility was that on the whole "it is a superb site."

Not to be outdone, both West Lindsey and North Kesteven District Councils also featured in the survey, achieving 2 star ratings for the sites, also designed and implemented by Abacus e-Media.
