Abacus cements its place in the NMA Top 100 Interactive Agencies 2010

NMA have released the much anticipated top 100 Interactive Agencies for 2010. For the 6th year running Abacus have made the top 100. This year we came in at 67.

The Top 100 Interactive Agencies 2010 lists the UK’s top 100 digital marketing, design & build and technical agencies. These are ranked on the income they earn from digital media activities in the UK. For the purposes of the Top 100, income is defined as money that agencies retain from clients after any bought-in third-party costs, such as media, production or hosting, have been paid. NMA believe this is a better indicator than overall turnover of what an agency’s digital expertise is worth.

To maintain our position in the top 100 against the industry’s finest is a great achievement in what has been a very challenging year for the UK economy. This year Abacus has continued to evolve to keep up with the ever-changing industry. We’ve had a busy year: EMAP migrated 7 new websites on to our Webvision v3 including The Architectural Review and Retail Jeweller; UBM have upgraded and redesigned their Built Environment portfolio of sites; and Ocean Media has launched an innovative recruitment platform called i-Talent for the Institute of Housing.

Abacus also has an exciting year ahead with lots of new projects in the pipeline, including Audience Development. If you would like to find out more about this, why not come and visit us at the AOP Digital Summit in October.
