Centaur Media redesign and re-launch financial websites using Webvision

Long time client, Centaur Media, has redesigned and re-launched four of their financial family websites using the latest version of our Webvision CMS platform.

The project involved the redevelopment of three established Centaur Media financial brands; Money Marketing, Mortgage Strategy and Fund Web along with the introduction of a fourth new site, Corporate Advisor. Centaur set out a number of main objectives for Abacus, with the primary focus on improving the structure and content flow of the sites with the aim of achieving increased user engagement. This includes in terms the growth of unique visitors to the sites, increased frequency of visits and increased number of pages visited. The other main objective was to allow for content to be reused and shared across all four sites to increase user engagement and market sharing. Each site was also introduced with an enhanced supplier directory, making it easier for users to quickly and easily find in-depth information about providers, distributors and firms within their fields. We are pleased to announce that the sites have been well received by both the client and their audiences.

All four sites are powered by Webvision, our market-leading multi-channel CMS, developed for the media and publishing sectors. Each site is constructed with SEO optimization built-in which helps drive organic traffic growth, site usage, and user engagement. The SPIN technology provides system users full control of the landing pages, giving them the ability to change the focus and pace of the pages. This results in reducing the overall page depth and creating more compelling pages with higher content impact, allowing for users to easily navigate the site and logically find what they want. The SPIN functionality gives system users the ability to react quickly to industry events and revenue opportunities by allowing non-technical users to adapt their main pages accordingly. Webvision also has the capacity to allow for content to be easily reused and shared across several sites, cutting down production costs and enhancing the overall offering of each site.
